18 Week Appointment

Had my monthly OB appointment today. Blood pressure was 136/72. The top number is the highest it has ever been but the nurse said thats to be expected since I am producing a lot more blood now. Shoot! Just realized I forgot to ask about the flu shot ughhhh oh well I guess I will try and remember to ask at my next appointment in October. Anyway baby's heartbeat sounded good and it was actually a little higher up that usual so thats cool. I think I have been feeling little kicks but I am really not sure. I hope that they become more obvious soon. I did get some kind of disappointing news today though however. I found out that I will not find out the sex of the baby until 26 weeks! Thats like 2 freakin more months! I am trying to decide if I should opt for an elective scan or not.
